This HD3 AC8.3.T universal thermostatic ceiling fan remote control kit works with most 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans, including those from Hampton Bay, Home Decorators Collection, Hunter, Harbor Breeze, Minka-Aire and other brands. It is a multi-function ceiling fan remote control with a variety of fan speed options (3-Speed, Comfortable Breeze, Thermostatic Feature) and light controls (ON/OFF/DIMMING). The Thermostatic Feature enables the user to set a desired room temperature, and the fan will automatically turn on/off based on a 1°C or 1°F difference.
This remote control kit is suitable for ceiling fans with reverse function and is compatible with dimmable LED and incandescent light bulbs, as well as non-dimmable LED and CFL lamps (which only support ON/OFF function). It is not recommended for use with hugger style fans.
The installation process involves setting the same code on both the transmitter and receiver, positioning the receiver correctly in the mounting bracket, and connecting the household wiring, receiver, and fan. It is important to disconnect the power before wiring and to follow all local and national electrical code requirements.
The package includes the Thermostatic Remote Control, Ceiling Fan Receiver, and necessary accessories. Luminous stickers can be attached to the remote to help find it in the dark, and the remote control uses 2 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) for power supply.
